A quick vacation to Miami is always at the top of my list. You get the opportunity to experience the rich culture from an array of Caribbean islands, eat amazing food, and soak up sun rays on the beach. To me, that’s the idea of the perfect vacation. I have opted to stay in Brinkell before, however, I had never ventured too far outside my bubble alone. In January, I chose to visit Miami again. Only this time, spending most of my time in the very popular Wynwood.
Known for its many colorful murals, Wynwood is one of the city’s most happening districts. Wynwood Walls is an outdoor museum showcasing large-scale works by some of the world’s best-known street artists. The surrounding streets have converted warehouses housing craft breweries and funky art galleries. A hip young crowd frequents the neighborhood’s chic clothing boutiques, stylish bistros and late-night bars.
I was wowed visiting Wynwood Walls, listened to a live reggae band in Wynwood Yard, and ate lobster mac and cheese at World Famous House of Mac.
Here are just a few photos of my awesome experience.
